BFLOW® Academy's exemptee certification course is accepted by the California Department of Health Food and Drug Branch. Successfully passing the exemptee certification course is one of several requirements necessary for an individual to obtain an exemptee license. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Prerequisite: High school diploma and one year of paid work experience related to the distribution or dispensing of dangerous drugs or dangerous devices. 111656.4. Section 4051 of the Business and Professions Code shall not prohibit a home medical device retail facility from selling or dispensing prescription devices if the department finds that sufficient qualified supervision is employed by the home medical device retail facility to adequately safeguard and protect public health. This training program is designed for individuals seeking this exemption. Course completion requirements: 1.0 Students will read and study course material taking relevant notes as they are introduced to concepts, standards, regulations, and laws. 2.0 At the conclusion of each section a final examination will be given to the student. A passing score of 80% is required to continue to the next section of the course. 3.0 Once all sections are satisfactorily completed with 80% or better a certificate of completion will be issued to the student.
